I realize that I finished the Belizean Blog series last week, but I only posted six. Seven of us were on the trip.
Grace Slowik, due to extenuating circumstances, was not able to deliver her entry to me the same time that I received everyone else’s. I was sweating it out; after all, people were asking about the mysterious seventh person, and what was her function in the whole scheme of things. To be perfectly honest, I was starting to run out of ideas for excuses. The previous couple of sentences is me being facetious, but I really was wondering when I was going to obtain Grace’s journals. But hot of the press is Grace’s account of how our trip in Belize went, and it goes to the tune of something like this:
May 19th 2008
Today was a Monday. We woke up early and began our day with some delicious breakfast. We then proceeded to Escuela Mexico which is a high school near Patchakan. We performed there for about an hour and were treated to the most excellent meat pies I have ever tasted. Yum. Then we had to hurry on to our next appointment at Concepion Elementary School. We performed there and then taught three workshops to the kids. We introduced them to several of the four elements of mind as well as the technique know as the mannequin. Later that day we went back to Patchakan where in the evening we met with the Youth Group to prepare for the Youth Rally in Belize City. After that, and a meeting of the Squad we called it a night.

Today was Saturday. A lot of the day was spent packing and and last minute souvenir shopping in Corozal, the largest city near Patchakan. Then we traveled by bus to Belize City where the Youth Rally was held. Youth Groups from Patchakan and Cristo Rey both performed as well as the Joshua Squad. The operation was a huge success and the whole experience was incredible. Then we proceeded to our hotel in Belize City where we spent the night in preparation for leaving on the morrow.
And that, truly, is a wrap on the Belizean Blog series…unless there was an eighth person, or thing, that was with this. Actually, that would explain a couple of things…
