I graduated from CHS in 1988. In all honesty, we never saw anything wrong with the separate proms. At the time, I think we believed that it was okay because of the different styles of music. However, the children all seem to listen to the same type of music, more or less. Therefore, I think it was a good thing. I assume that nothing terribly negative happened since it was not reported in your blog. Eventually, I will receive my edition of the hometown paper. Hopefully, something will be mentioned in there.
