Know Huddle

An exciting new development has happened for me in the past week. Bet you can’t wait to hear it!

I’m a man of ten fingers, and I try to keep them in as many different pies as possible. So I was playing the game, hustling for opportunities, and I saw an ad for a football website that needed writers for the upcoming season.

One thing about myself that I don’t post often (but for those who know me, this comes as no surprise) is that I’m an avid football fan. I only follow a couple of teams closely, but there isn’t much that I enjoy more than watching a good football game (good being the key word).

So I sent in my resume along with some writing samples, and wouldn’t you know it? A couple of days later, I was brought on board to the Know Huddle team. My job is to write at least 2 articles a week about professional or college football.

I already have two articles posted on the site, Resilient Saints and Grassroots Warner. Check them out at:

Also, Football Articles has been added to the side menu. This page will chronicle these writings.

Before this entry ends, I would like to offer this to you. If you are a fan, and would like for a writer (me) to shed light on a subject related to football that you think doesn’t get enough coverage, please let me know. You won’t get any credit for the idea, mind you, but I will keep saying hello to you in public; it’s the least I can do. ;)

Extra! Extra! Infomercial Express!

I was told that if you were a beginner in Hollywood (c’est moi), that this was a good route to take. Not only was there pay involved, but it got you experience on the set. Judging from the crowd this morning, though, I wasn’t the only one who was told that this was a great idea. I estimated there were over a hundred people present, and that was only the time that I was there. But getting extra work can obtain you union vouchers, which are a hot commodity if you wish to join the Screen Actor’s Guild.
