Final Thoughts on the WhaleBone Tour

Even though I’m starting to sort things out, there’s still some dust that has to settle from the road I just traveled out to Cali. If there is a time to reflect on the past several weeks, this would be the appropriate time, because later I will probably too wrapped up in launching my Hollywood career to attend to this. What did I learn on this move? How can I count it? First and foremost, I felt that this whole trip has been a confirmation that I am doing the right thing. I’m real anxious to see what’s ahead for me.

California Culture

The anticipation was rising as we crossed over the mountains that separated the Imperial Valley and San Diego. After a week-long journey, we finally were reaching California. In a matter of days, the final destination of Los Angeles would arrive, but coming to San Diego was an important milestone in this trip. Not only was it our first stop in the state I will be living in, but it is also the first encounter of the culture as well. It has been seven years since I last stepped foot in the Golden State, but I distinctly remember that I had never seen a place quite like it, before or since.
