Going to Belize

My musings online will come to a halt for the next week and a half, for I will be in the nation of Belize with the Joshua Squad as they stay true to their ongoing mission of spreading God’s Word to the nations of this world. belize.JPGI am working with the Squad as we will perform at over ten venues in just seven days. Wheewww! But it will be a rich experience, and I will provide plenty of photographs when I come back Stateside.

In other news, Handry Kova has finally shot its last scene. And everyone said, “Huzzah!” At least I did anyway. Post-production should last until the month of July, and then, hopefully, there will be a finished product at the end of the tunnel. Looking back, there are some things I would have done differently in the process, but no time for regret, for the film isn’t finished yet, as it now rests on the shoulders of our director, editor, sound designer, etc. to finish this worthy task. And, yes, as always, there will be updates that you can read if you stay tuned.

So until I come back from Belize, Adios!

Funny thing, that Fate. She also arranged it to where I was in a commercial with Eli Manning and his father, Archie Manning, also a renowned quarterback in his day, for BankPlus this past Saturday.

Gore

Sicily’s restaurant happens to be one of my favorite stops. I can’t go there as often as I’d like, because I’m trying to stay fit; I wish to add more credits to my name, not more weight. gore.JPG

The race to the White House this election year is perhaps one of the most talked about in ages. Change. Prejudice. Experience. Each end of the ideological spectrum has been covered in the midst of the hype.

What does the ’08 Presidential election and Sicily’s have in common? Not much, except for the following account based on actual events.

I was recently at Sicily’s with a good friend of mine (whose name will remain anonymous, but this person knows who he/she is), when the topic of The Devil and Tom Walker, one of the films I acted in, came up. My friend had not seen the picture yet, and I was describing the basic plot for him.
