This particular story takes me back to around four years ago when my brother, Will, and drove up to Milwaukee, Wisconsin (as if there was another Milwaukee) for a wedding. Will was in the wedding, I was just along for the ride (with an invitation to the wedding of course; I’m not that rude). However, the story I’m about to tell you in no way has anything to do with Milwaukee, but rather, the little town we stopped at on the way back home, a little town called Chicago.

Handry Kova shooting; Feb. 24th
As my good friend Doc pointed out in the comment section, in case you haven’t heard the results of the Oscars yet, this article does contain a spoiler. Read at your own risk.
Shooting for Handry Kova was successful at Lemuria bookstore today. We set up at around 4 PM and left the building at around 9:30 PM.
Several scenes were taken care of, including one with my Aunt Marilynne and my little cousin, Lauren, who played the part of mother and daughter on screen as well as off. I saw several of my friends, Michelle Pemberton and Art Alford (among others), whom I haven’t seen in awhile who came to be extras in the film. They did a wonderful job and are welcome back to do so.
Handry Kova update…among others
We’re beginning to shoot the short film Handry Kova tomorrow. It will be at Lemuria bookstore in Jackson, MS. We got a good script, good cast, and a good production crew. All in all, I can say I’m comfortable with the situation.
I got cast in the soon-to-be-hit sitcom We Can’t Believe It’s Television. I’ll be playing the role of Larry George, a know it all producer at a small market television station. The show revolves around an intern named Sheldon who has come to use (or waste) his internship at a n’er-do-well television station that is consistently last in the network ratings. It sounds like it will be a fun show. Here is a link to the site:
It’s hilarious…really. As of right now, the producers are still hammering out details with potential sponsors, so it may not be immediate, but I’m hoping we’ll start shooting for this series soon.
I will be posting updates on the Handry Kova film from now until it gets recognized as a great film, and until the next project comes along.
Ciao.
For now.

Starkville, Sity of Sitcoms
I went up to Starkville, Mississippi today. When most people hear the words Starkville, MS, usually the words Mississippi State University follows. It was not any different today, for that is where I went. Usually the reasons people go there are the same: academics, athletic events, etc. Athletics events were the only reasons I had been up there previously. However, that is not why I went up. I went up to audition for the soon-to-be-hit sitcom, I Can’t Believe That’s Television.
