While I was at the computer yesterday, I heard intense growling and barking right outside my front door. I went outside to look, and three dogs ganged up on my dog, Deuce. I know that “Deuce” refers to two, but despite my dog’s nomenclature, he was being attacked three-to-one. Those aren’t good odds, whether you’re a canine or not.

Happy Thanksgiving
For all who look upon this website. Happy Thanksgiving. May you have something to be thankful for. I got a couple of things. That’s for sure.
Pinkville Audition
The audition went pretty well last Saturday for the Oliver Stone movie, Pinkville. There were close to two thousand people that showed up, and I made it into the elite few who actually made the first two cuts and was interviewed on tape. I’m waiting to hear if I made it into the final cut. It may be a while, though. Apparently, the movie, as of this weekend, has been put on hold due to the writer’s strike. Oh, well, I will sit and wait.
Gibberish, or What to Talk about After Watching a Movie on Friday Night
I love to write scripts. However, I haven’t written an original one in quite a while. I adapted the Gondoliers script, which was performed at Belhaven earlier this month, but it wasn’t quite the same as actually writing an original story.
Are all the good stories taken? I don’t think so. In fact, I believe my next script will be more astonishing than the last one I wrote. I’ve got a couple of ideas, but nothing has really jumped out at me yet. One character in my head said…
Write a story about me!
And I said…
Ok. What’s interesting about you?
He paused and said…
I’m Swiss?
The writers are still on strike. I think they have a noble cause. Will they get what they want? Maybe; only time will chime, and only William can Tell. (Hey! That’d be a great name for a Swiss character. Hm, I wonder if it’s already taken…)
Going to Memphis tomorrow. Audition. Eat some BBQ. Come home. Get some sleep. Should be a good day.
Got Cast; Now Audition Again
So I got a part in the film I auditioned for last weekend; the one about the Romans and Germanians fighting. Pretty cool so far. The title of the movie is called Saturnine. Not sure how they came up with that title. The only time I’ve ever heard those words uttered from anyone’s lips is when I heard about a band in Europe called The Saturnine.
