New Undertakings (Texas Roads)

It should be known to one and all that I will likely be accepting the role as Area Director of Texas for the Enclave. What’s an Enclave you ask? This particular Enclave is a theatre organization designed to consult and instill theatre academies in companies within individual entities, such as churches, community centers, schools, etc. Hopefully, along with gaining invaluable experience and developing family friendly artistic environments, taking on this task will open doors for yours truly and help him meet some neat people.

Toilets: Here and Overseas

Today, I met a man who works in the industry of toilets, and, oddly enough, I met him in a public restroom. People who read books usually like the author to vividly paint the setting for them using words and descriptions. Considering the place and circumstance, these same people, or other people, probably don’t want extensive details, but here you go. It was sterile and there was muzak playing. Now on with the story.

Disappointment

Disappointment may seem to be a rather bleak subject, especially for a guy who’s just starting his website blog, but if you think about, disappointment is really just a feeling that everyone struggles with every once in awhile. No big deal. When it comes to disappointment, however, the crux of the matter is not the feeling itself, but why you’re disappointed. This leads to a question I found myself pondering today is, “What’s worse; disappointment in others, or disappointment in yourself?”

Welcome All

Hello, everyone, Guinn Terry Davis here. This is my first official blog entry on this website. It’s been a long time coming; I’ve posted on Xanga and other websites, but never my own. Truly groundbreaking…in some countries anyway. I have to give props, thanks, kudos, gramercies, praises, etc. to Chad Miller, the designer of this web page for making this site possible. There are other people, too, and over the course of time I’ll thank them…I may even mention them on this site. So for all those who I owe a bit of gratitude to, you know who you are and start rejoicing, because you may have a chance to be exposed on a world wide scale (nothing too embarrassing, I promise.) ;)

Changes for Young and Old

I read today that the music industry is heavily relying on CD sales this fall from the likes of Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, and even Britney Spears. According to the All Access Group, CD sales percentages decreased in the double digits this past year, and the surge of superstars selling CDs in the fall maybe the only thing that saves the record companies from having a complete meltdown going into ’08.
